Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that enables our therapists to maintain their own well-being while providing high-quality care to clients. Although the core working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to their individual needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and coping skills.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support client healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma experiences and develop robust coping strategies.
\n
• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that ensures optimal treatment outcomes for our clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to provide immediate relief for those in critical situations.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, enhancing their understanding of coping mechanisms and resources available to them.
\n
• Ensure precise and confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and attend team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy to continuously improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on supporting individuals who are survivors of trauma. This can include clients grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. You will be working with a diverse range of individuals, each with their unique life stories and healing journeys. Our goal is to provide tailored therapeutic interventions that foster recovery, resilience, and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy, preferably with a focus on trauma-informed care.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related diagnoses, treatment methodologies, and approaches that foster resilience.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude that is crucial for client engagement.
\n
• The ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations, necessary for crisis intervention.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to streamline patient documentation and care coordination.
\n
• An ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience implementing trauma-focused therapeutic modalities, including EMDR and TF-CBT, within a clinical setting.

• Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.

• Active participation in continuous professional development programs or workshops related to trauma therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
