Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and trauma histories, utilizing standardized tools and interviews.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and client-specific goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other modalities tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process trauma and enhance their coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, especially during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, offering guidance on available resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient record-keeping.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and enhance clinical practices.

• Continuously update knowledge in trauma therapy by participating in professional development and leveraging the latest research in the field.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is necessary.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Preferred Experience\n
