Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, allowing you to engage with patients through a virtual platform while maintaining the community's high standards of care. You will collaborate with an experienced team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and peer support specialists, all dedicated to trauma-informed care practices. Our remote setting also promotes work-life balance, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies for patients.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and skill development.
\n
• Applying evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual or group sessions.

• Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to create an integrated care plan that addresses each patient's unique needs.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute distress related to trauma.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources essential for recovery.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation following legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and continually engaging in professional development centered on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who are navigating the complexities of trauma recovery. This includes patients diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will enable you to help these individuals process their trauma, develop essential coping strategies, and promote healing in a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Strong knowledge and experience in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong understanding of computer applications necessary for efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, specifically dealing with trauma-related cases.

• Demonstrated skill in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
