Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories and inform treatment choices.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and enhancing patient resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the trauma processing stages while equipping them with coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to foster integrated patient care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients to de-escalate and find stability.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they understand available resources and support networks.

• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all documentation adheres to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical insights and continually improve trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve primarily consist of individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse and those experiencing significant life stressors. Our clientele may have conditions ranging from PTSD to various dissociative disorders. Your role will be crucial in providing the therapeutic support required to help these individuals reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• A strong foundation in trauma-informed theories and practices.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value applicants who can demonstrate a strong understanding of trauma-focused interventions. Experience with trauma-informed care, and prior involvement in an outpatient setting, will enhance your candidacy. Having a history of successful patient outcomes in trauma therapy will be greatly regarded.
