Work Environment\n

This position allows for the flexibility of working remotely, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to balance their professional responsibilities with personal needs. While primarily remote, you will remain an integral part of a dedicated team committed to ongoing collaboration and support, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. The full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for flexible hours based on client availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ historical experiences and determine the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions designed to support patients in processing traumatic experiences and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other service providers within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each individual.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed approach in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, as well as available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with established legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to further enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically supports patients affected by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. You'll be tasked with implementing tailored interventions to address their unique psychological and emotional needs. Your expertise will serve to empower these individuals, guiding them in achieving greater stability and recovery in their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and the principles of trauma-informed care.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, effectively working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
