Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that gauge each patient's trauma history and psychological state to formulate tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized action plans focused on promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing a compassionate and patient-centered approach to help clients navigate their trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and continuity for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and validated.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and resilience, equipping them with knowledge and resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and experiences to enhance treatment outcomes for our clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices within the realm of trauma therapy to continuously improve professional knowledge and therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients who have experienced various types of trauma, including those living with PTSD and complex trauma. Your interventions will focus on helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward healing. The support you provide will significantly impact their recovery journeys, promoting resilience and empowering them to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Strong knowledge base in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients empathetically and judiciously.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and computer applications to enhance patient engagement and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
