Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma backgrounds and current mental health status, facilitating the creation of tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Administer therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address the unique needs of each client.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for clients to process their experiences and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on interdisciplinary insights.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses to patient needs.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms that can assist in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and training programs focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociation. You will work closely with diverse clients, from young adults to seniors, each carrying unique experiences that require sensitivity, understanding, and specialized therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably within trauma-informed settings.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing trauma-focused therapeutic approaches with measurable outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
