This position is primarily remote, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home or designated workspace. You will also have access to our well-resourced outpatient office in Phoenix, where in-person therapy sessions may occasionally be held. Work hours typically follow a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that guide patients in processing traumatic experiences and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive treatment approach for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, supportive coping mechanisms, and the resources available to aid recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that aligns with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities and stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals who have been impacted by various forms of trauma. This includes survivors of physical, emotional, and psychological trauma, as well as individuals diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be responsible for creating individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs, fostering a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to perform empathetically and non-judgmentally with a diverse patient population.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on trauma therapies and interventions.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
