Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to explore patients' histories and tailor appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing recovery and resilience for trauma-affected individuals.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in their healing process.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions designed to aid patients in processing their trauma while developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide holistic and integrated care for patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely assistance to those in need.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources.

• Maintaining accurate health records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security.

• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a calm and compassionate approach to client interactions.

• A proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote interdisciplinary team.

• Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with demonstrated proficiency in trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be strongly considered. A background in crisis intervention is also beneficial.
