Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to discern patients' trauma histories and identify the most effective therapeutic approaches.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, ensuring they cater to each patient's specific needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, implement coping strategies, and foster an environment of healing and support.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support in situations where patients face trauma-triggered emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation consistent with professional, legal, and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve primarily consist of individuals grappling with the impacts of traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
