Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients’ trauma histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on fostering resilience and progressing toward recovery.

• Provide evidence-based therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to navigate their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive and integrated patient care.

• Offer crisis support and intervention for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and compassionate assistance.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, enhancing their understanding and coping strategies.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal regulations and ethical best practices.

• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focusing on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay current on research and advancements in trauma therapy practices to continually enhance therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will cater primarily to clients experiencing psychological impacts stemming from trauma, including but not limited to those affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our focus on trauma-informed care allows us to treat the whole individual, validating their experiences and promoting healing.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-informed treatment practices and therapeutic methodologies.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, coupled with a compassionate approach to therapy.

• Expertise in maintaining professionalism and composure in challenging scenarios.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years post-licensure experience is preferred, those with extensive training in trauma-related therapies and proven success in delivering effective mental health interventions will be highly regarded. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous to enhance patient management and record-keeping.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, reflecting the significance of your contributions to our clients and organization.
