Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new clients to identify their unique needs and strengths.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy.

• Offer individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through a telehealth platform, adapting methods to best suit varying client needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to help patients develop coping strategies and build a supportive community.

• Engage in collaborative case reviews with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises.

• Continuously educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available for additional support.

• Document patient interactions accurately and adhere to confidentiality standards and ethical guidelines.

• Stay current with developments in the mental health field through ongoing education and participation in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a varied patient demographic, focusing on individuals experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. By establishing trust and rapport, you will enable clients to share their experiences and progress toward their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field is required, with further education in Mental Health Counseling preferred.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
