This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to provide care from your own location while enjoying the flexibility to meet with clients through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients’ experiences and inform tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop essential coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other clinical professionals to ensure seamless and integrated care throughout the treatment process.

• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, offering timely support during trauma-related emergencies or challenges.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available theories and resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultation discussions to enhance treatment strategies and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. Our clients often face challenges like PTSD, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma, requiring sensitive and personalized approaches to therapy. You will help these individuals navigate their healing journeys, providing them with tools and support to foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably in trauma-focused environments.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and contemporary trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient in the delivery of trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and non-judgmental engagement with clients.

• Ability to maintain a calm, composed demeanor in challenging or high-stress scenarios.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in related computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years' experience is required, additional experience in trauma-focused therapy, crisis intervention, and group therapy sessions is advantageous. Certifications in trauma-informed practices or specific therapeutic techniques such as EMDR or TF-CBT are highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
