As a remote position, this role allows you to conduct your practice through a telehealth platform that facilitates virtual therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather patient histories, identifying specific trauma-related issues and determining suitable treatment options.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing specialized techniques to help patients process their trauma experiences and formulate effective coping strategies.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals for a well-rounded and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide real-time crisis intervention and support, addressing the immediate needs of patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma reactions and resilience-building practices, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to cope effectively.

• Maintain accurate, confidential electronic records and documentation consistent with HIPAA regulations and best practice standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, committing to ongoing professional development and training in trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on emerging research and methodologies in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is focused on individuals impacted by various forms of trauma. Patients may present with a range of experiences including complex PTSD, childhood trauma, interpersonal violence, and stress disorders. Your ability to establish trust and build therapeutic relationships will be essential in guiding them through recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in trauma-informed practices.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatments, with a proven track record of implementing effective trauma-focused interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, characterized by empathy and non-judgment.
\n
• Calm and composed demeanor in crisis situations, exhibiting resilience under pressure.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools required for virtual therapy delivery.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working within a team of diverse professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with specific trauma modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be highly valued.

• A background in community mental health settings or outpatient therapy focused on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
