Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and identify effective treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience building, and coping strategies tailored to each patient’s unique experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Provide crisis intervention in emergency situations, allowing patients immediate support during trauma-related distress.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and integrated care, participating in case consultations and clinical meetings.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy in patient treatment records.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources for continued recovery.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advances in trauma therapy to enhance practice and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including but not limited to those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Your approach will directly influence their recovery and well-being, fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with patients.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
