Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and identifying tailored treatment approaches.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring to set measurable goals for each client.

• Facilitating evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide clients through their healing journeys.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various techniques to enable patients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the integration of care and continuity for all patients, addressing their physical and emotional well-being.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, veterans, and those experiencing severe stressors from life events. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Furthermore, you must possess current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Georgia, and demonstrate a robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and recovery approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we prioritize proven knowledge and skills in trauma-focused therapies and interventions. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
