Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine suitable therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and the enhancement of resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate recovery.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing their trauma and cultivating effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating quick thinking and support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they are well-informed and supported.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and therapeutic techniques in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Many of our patients are navigating significant challenges that affect their emotional and mental well-being, and your role will be crucial in guiding them through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications necessary for documentation and patient management.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a clinical setting focused on trauma therapy.

• Demonstrated skill in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with real-world applications in previous roles.

Compensation and Benefits\n
