Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to develop a clear understanding of each patient’s history and the impact of trauma on their mental wellness.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting resilience and facilitating trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that encourage patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Engage in collaborative care by working with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated treatment approaches.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, ensuring they are aware of available resources both within and outside the organization.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance therapeutic practices and share insights on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about current research, treatment modalities, and best practices in trauma therapy to continually refine clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with trauma survivors, including individuals with complex trauma histories and those diagnosed with PTSD and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and a deep understanding of trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, non-judgmental approach when interacting with patients and family members.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology to manage patient information effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing therapy, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
