Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while ensuring that you remain connected with a supportive team. Our typical work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. As part of our commitment to a collaborative environment, you will actively engage in team meetings and case consultations regularly.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients’ trauma history and inform treatment options.
\n
• Create individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based methods tailored to each patient's needs.
\n
• Deliver various therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and collective healing among trauma survivors.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each patient.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support for patients facing trauma-related challenges.
\n
• Engage patients and their families in educational discussions about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for further support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in professional development and continue to stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. By adopting a trauma-informed approach, we tailor therapies to empower our patients, enabling them to navigate their recovery process and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a non-judgmental approach to client care.
\n
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly related to trauma recovery.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
