Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' trauma histories to inform appropriate treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during one-on-one and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their traumatic experiences, develop robust coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and patient-centered care, ensuring comprehensive support for patients.

• Respond to crisis situations with sensitivity and effective intervention strategies during trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with individuals experiencing the debilitating effects of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in trauma-focused therapy and treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
