Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with patients. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the standard work schedule is primarily structured, there may be necessary flexibility to accommodate patient needs, ensuring that we provide the most effective support possible. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' histories and identify their specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and promoting resilience among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapeutic sessions.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate healing and provide a space for clients to process their experiences and develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to provide coordinated and integrated care to patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards, including compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and discuss best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in trauma therapy, continuously integrating new techniques and modalities into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse patient population affected by trauma, including those dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will utilize a trauma-informed lens to cater to each client's unique needs, ensuring that every individual feels safe, heard, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with patients compassionately.

• Proven ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
