Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients articulate their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and connect with others facing similar challenges.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and linking patients to necessary resources.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available therapeutic resources to promote understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain confidential and accurate client records in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and various associated mental health disorders. You will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults, providing both individual and group therapies designed to facilitate healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• A strong knowledge base of trauma-related disorders, along with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building frameworks.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, displaying empathy and a non-judgmental stance.

Compensation and Benefits\n
