Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience building for each patient.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive, integrated care for our patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families about responses to trauma, coping strategies, and available support resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in team case consultations, meetings, and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be serving individuals affected by trauma, specifically those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population includes diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and needs requiring sensitive and individualized care. Your role is instrumental in helping them navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.

• Exceptional understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Competence in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions to effectively support patient recovery.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care.

• Adeptness in managing high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in computer applications necessary for documentation and patient management.

• The ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably focusing on trauma-specific populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
