Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, providing insights to develop customized treatment plans.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions that address a wide array of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community resource providers, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.

• Leverage telehealth technologies to conduct therapy sessions, employing tools that enhance client engagement and allow for effective monitoring of progress.

• Stay abreast of evolving healthcare practices and ethical standards through ongoing education opportunities and active participation in staff training sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active mental health professional license (either LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW) in New York.
\n
• A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services to individuals dealing with emotional difficulties.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients and foster trusting therapeutic relationships.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred, though not required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health setting or within diverse populations.

• Expertise in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Demonstrated ability to engage in crisis intervention and emergency response.
