Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through virtual initial consultations to assess clients’ emotional, psychological, and behavioral health conditions.

• Develop personalized treatment and recovery plans targeting the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, or groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote open dialogue and self-reflection.

• Continuously monitor clients’ progress throughout treatment, adapting interventions based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, and social workers, to enhance client treatment plans.

• Provide timely follow-ups with external healthcare providers, particularly for clients requiring hospitalization.

• Identify behaviors that may hinder recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges effectively.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing clients' mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The diverse client population you will serve includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with various client demographics and presenting issues.

• Adoption of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of medication management, particularly the impact of psychotropic medications prescribed by specialists.

Compensation and Benefits\n
