Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and establish individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist clients in their recovery journey.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on trauma recovery and the development of adaptive coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to provide integrated care that meets the complex needs of our patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during critical trauma-related incidents.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, resilience, and coping mechanisms to enhance their understanding and pathways to recovery.

• Ensure that patient records are maintained with confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment strategies and foster a shared learning environment.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma-informed care to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will encompass not only the treatment of these conditions but also the empowerment and education of clients, enabling them to reclaim their lives and improve their overall well-being. By focusing on the unique experiences of each client, you will help build a foundation for lasting recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and comprehensive experience with trauma-informed care modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
