Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' history and develop appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating conversations that help clients process trauma and cultivate effective coping mechanisms.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support client healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care to all clients.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available resources to empower and enable their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to ensure quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who are navigating the effects of trauma in their lives. Our clientele includes those affected by PTSD, complex trauma experiences, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
