Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including evaluations of how co-existing medical issues impact mental well-being, to inform tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement integrated intervention strategies that address psychiatric and medical conditions, ensuring continuity of care across disciplines.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities designed to support patient recovery and growth.

• Engage in active collaboration with medical providers to coordinate care efforts effectively and enhance treatment outcomes for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, effectively managing immediate risks and ensuring patient safety.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health disorders often coupled with complex medical conditions. This includes patients with dual diagnoses who benefit from a holistic approach to care. Your role will be critical in guiding them through their recovery journeys, implementing treatments that consider both mental and physical health aspects.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated experience in working with patients who present with co-occurring disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective patient engagement and collaboration with healthcare providers.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards while ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
