Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' histories and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience, and the well-being of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide a fully integrated care approach to patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and various resources available for additional support.

• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation that complies with ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to promote a culture of trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As part of our mission to serve the community, the Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including but not limited to survivors of emotional, physical, and psychological abuse. Our focus extends to clients experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be vital in helping these individuals navigate their experiences, fostering resilience, and supporting their path toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possess current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
