Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma backgrounds and determine effective treatment strategies.

• Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's therapeutic needs, focusing on their recovery journey.

• Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care and address any psychiatric or medical needs that may arise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with individuals who are trauma survivors, dealing with a range of conditions including but not limited to PTSD, anxiety disorders, and depressive disorders related to traumatic experiences. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in assisting clients to navigate their healing processes and equip them with the tools necessary to regain control and resilience in their lives.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Arizona as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Preferred Experience\n
