Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate comprehensive trauma histories and highlight appropriate treatment strategies.

• Craft and execute individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience, and the cultivation of coping skills.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions focusing on helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive care and optimize treatment outcomes for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, constructive coping strategies, and available community resources to support ongoing recovery.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.

• Participate in team consultations, meetings, and professional development activities aimed at improving trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously engage with the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, dissociative disorders, and complex trauma. You will provide care to a diverse population, understanding the unique cultural and social contexts that influence their experiences and recovery paths. Your empathetic approach and expertise will empower clients to navigate their trauma recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona is essential.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, conveying a non-judgmental and compassionate attitude towards clients.

• Ability to function effectively in high-stress situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant clinical applications.

• Capable of working cohesively within a dynamic, multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health settings, preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, as well as a solid grasp of resilience-building techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
