You will utilize telehealth technologies to deliver personalized care remotely from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace.

Work Environment\n

This role allows you to work remotely, taking advantage of telehealth platforms to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and follow-ups. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team that regularly engages in case consultations and team meetings to ensure an integrated approach to patient care. Though you will primarily work independently, support from colleagues, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, is readily available.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to assess patients' trauma histories and establish tailored treatment plans.

• Implementing individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and psychological well-being.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), both in individual and group settings.

• Engaging patients in therapeutic sessions aimed at helping them process trauma, develop coping strategies, and facilitate a healing process.
\n
• Working collaboratively with other health care providers to ensure holistic and integrated treatment for each patient.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to address immediate patient needs effectively.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources that are available to assist them.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation, strictly adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development activities, team meetings, and case reviews to remain current with best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve primarily consist of adults experiencing the effects of trauma in various forms. Many are dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders that affect their daily functioning and overall mental health. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping these individuals navigate their emotions, develop coping strategies, and pursue a path towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT recognized by the state of Arizona.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly focused on trauma treatment methodologies.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based modalities for trauma-informed care.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Familiarity and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, additional experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

Compensation and Benefits\n
