Work Environment\n

This position will be entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring access to our comprehensive therapeutic resources. Although the role is conducted primarily from home, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, engaging in regular discussions and case reviews to uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the patients' trauma histories, identifying specific treatment needs and enabling targeted interventions.

• Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building, integrating their unique goals and challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining precise and confidential documentation.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Mood Dynamics Counseling Center, we focus on providing care to individuals suffering from trauma-related disorders. Our clients may include veterans, survivors of abuse, individuals experiencing significant life changes, and others facing challenges related to their mental health. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in interactions with patients.

• The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, providing support to clients during crises.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to document client progress and interactions effectively.

• Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of relevant experience is required, candidates with advanced training in trauma-informed practices or specific certification in EMDR or TF-CBT will be highly regarded. Exposure to or experience in working with diverse populations dealing with trauma is also favored.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
