This position operates in a remote setting via our telehealth platform, which allows therapists to connect with patients from the comfort of their homes. With a commitment to work-life balance, we adhere to a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required depending on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to explore patients' trauma histories and design personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring tailored interventions for each patient.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to express their trauma experiences, foster healing, and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive, multidisciplinary care that addresses all facets of patients’ wellbeing.

• Prepare and participate in crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping techniques, enhancing their understanding and ability to navigate challenges effectively.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and professional standards.

• Engage in regular case consultation and professional development activities tailored to trauma-informed care, remaining current with best practices and research advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, or other distressing experiences. Our team is skilled in offering tailored support to people experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, aiming to help them rebuild resilience and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Demonstrated competency in trauma-informed treatment modalities and a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-affected populations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience utilizing digital tools for therapy.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies; specific experience with EMDR and TF-CBT is highly desirable.
