Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and sustainable healing strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide therapy sessions.

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, facilitating safe spaces for patients to process their trauma experiences and develop coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure all-encompassing care that addresses the various needs of patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to support patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and emotional stability.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals impacted by trauma, ensuring an empathetic and understanding approach to their unique experiences. Our clientele includes adults and adolescents grappling with debilitating symptoms stemming from trauma, and your role will be crucial in guiding them through therapeutic processes to reclaim their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

New Hope Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
