Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather insights into patients' trauma backgrounds and currently presenting issues to inform treatment.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering resilience, incorporating both individual and group therapeutic techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address trauma symptoms effectively.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that help clients process their trauma and develop coping mechanisms to navigate everyday challenges.

• Conduct group therapy sessions that foster a sense of community among trauma survivors, promoting sharing and mutual support.

• Engage in collaborative care approaches by working alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Provide immediate crisis interventions in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.

• Educate patients and families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies to manage symptoms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele predominantly comprises individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their unique trauma recovery journeys, and your contributions will directly impact their healing and overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n
