Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in stress reduction and personal growth.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients’ unique challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, adjusting interventions as necessary for optimal impact.

• Guide clients through individual mindfulness practices, including meditation, breathing exercises, and self-reflective journaling, aimed at enhancing self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate dynamic group workshops focusing on mindfulness techniques, stress management strategies, and resilience-building exercises, encouraging community and peer learning.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other therapists and healthcare professionals, to develop and implement integrated treatment plans that prioritize client wellness.

• Maintain precise documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress to comply with regulatory standards and to ensure continuity of care.

• Engage regularly in personal mindfulness practices and professional development to stay informed about the latest methodologies in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A strong commitment to utilizing mindfulness principles in therapeutic practice and a passion for helping clients improve their quality of life.
