Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to identify each client’s unique needs, challenges, and aspirations.

• Facilitate evidence-based individual therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to address various mental health issues.

• Lead group therapy sessions that foster community support and shared healing, covering themes such as anxiety management, depression coping strategies, and trauma recovery.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that include clear objectives and measurable outcomes, ensuring they are aligned with each client’s goals and personal circumstances.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes, offering immediate support and stabilizing strategies.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, empowering them with coping mechanisms and information about available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous client records that document assessments, treatment plans, and session notes, all in compliance with legal and ethical standards to guarantee client confidentiality.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other relevant professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
