Work Environment\n

This role is remote, enabling you to efficiently provide care from your own space while being part of an engaged and collaborative team. Our outpatient office setting is designed to support clinicians and patients alike through virtual consultations and therapy sessions. Summit Behavioral Health Resources operates with extended hours from 7 am to 10 pm, allowing for significant flexibility in scheduling to accommodate both your needs and those of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring that each patient’s unique needs are met.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in their healing journey.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop essential coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for our patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, effectively addressing immediate patient needs.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to safeguard client confidentiality and uphold the integrity of our practice.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest level of care.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to guaranteed pay with annual increases, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
