The work setting at Atascosa is primarily remote, allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate various lifestyles. Our clinic operates from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, ensuring that our counselors can meet patients at their convenience. With support staff available for scheduling and client services, you can focus on delivering exceptional care without the administrative burden. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate individuals’ trauma histories, enabling the identification of fitting treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate assistance when needed.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, fostering understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC in New York.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to guaranteed pay, we offer annual increases and bonus opportunities.
