This is a full-time, remote position, where you will primarily engage with clients through telehealth, enabling you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your own space. Our organization embraces a flexible work environment, allowing you to deliver care remotely via telehealth platforms. Our operational hours are designed to accommodate various schedules, with services available from 7 am to 10 pm every day of the week. You will receive support from our administrative team, allowing you to focus primarily on your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and determine suitable therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique needs and centered on trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to integrated care for your clients.
\n
• Providing timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available for further support.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Staying informed of the latest clinical research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be providing services to individuals experiencing trauma, stress, and anxiety. The diverse patient population may include survivors of complex trauma, veterans, first responders, and individuals coping with various life stressors. You will work collaboratively to empower clients to navigate their challenges, promote healing, and instill resilience.

Qualifications\n

We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous:

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, particularly EMDR or TF-CBT.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
