Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, completing diagnostic assessments to establish appropriate treatment directions.

• Engage in one-on-one counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients managing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, including support and psychoeducational groups, to foster community and collective healing among clients with shared experiences.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, establishing measurable goals and interventions to track progress effectively.

• Respond to client crises by providing immediate emotional support, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with emergency services if necessary.

• Maintain professional development through ongoing training in emerging mental health practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This includes but is not limited to, clients struggling with anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State, which includes passing the requisite state exam and completing supervised clinical hours.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, emphasizing practical engagement with clients under supervision.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
