Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to operate from your preferred setting while providing care to clients via telehealth platforms. We prioritize flexibility in your schedule, with available hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Our team is committed to ensuring no required on-call hours, providing peace of mind while allowing you to focus on your clinical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and define tailored treatment approaches.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and psychological well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients' safety and emotional well-being.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources to empower informed treatment choices.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care and practices.

• Stay current with best practices and research developments in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals coping with trauma and anxiety, facilitating a safe, supportive space for them to process their experiences and emotions. You will assist clients in developing effective coping mechanisms and resilience skills, enabling them to embark on a path toward recovery and long-term mental health stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• A demonstrated ability to deliver effective trauma-focused therapies and interventions in a clinical setting.

• Experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, in addition to offering a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. We also provide annual increases and bonus opportunities based on performance. Benefits include:
