Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Allegiance Mental Healthcare, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' individual trauma histories, thereby identifying target treatment methodologies that are tailored to their specific needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at aiding trauma recovery and fostering resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective and lasting healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to share their stories, learn coping strategies, and embark on their paths to recovery.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care to each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they feel supported and safe during vulnerable moments.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding of available resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed methodologies and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant psychological trauma, including but not limited to those suffering from PTSD and complex trauma. You will work tirelessly to create a supportive therapeutic relationship, empowering patients to confront their trauma and facilitating their healing journey through the application of proven therapeutic techniques. Qualifications\n

For this role, we require the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders along with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting compassion and a non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and associated computer applications effectively.

• A collaborative spirit, working seamlessly as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience are preferred. Familiarity with trauma-focused therapies and previous experience serving individuals affected by trauma will enhance your application.
