Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. Our telehealth facility leverages advanced technology to facilitate consistent and effective therapy sessions. Therapists utilize secure digital platforms to connect with clients, ensuring confidentiality and comfort. While the core work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be opportunities for flexible hours based on patient needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, collaborating closely with clients to adapt these plans as necessary.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailoring them to the unique needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care to patients, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-triggered emergencies, demonstrating calmness and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with vital knowledge and resources.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient interactions in our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Our patient population consists primarily of individuals coping with the aftermath of trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating a stable history of providing mental health services.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies is crucial.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, especially a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and familiarity with digital tools for remote therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is the minimum, candidates with a background in trauma-focused therapies and interventions are highly desired.
