Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma background, mental health needs, and unique circumstances.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, emphasizing evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to empower patients in processing their trauma, building coping mechanisms, and fostering healing.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s treatment.

• Provide timely crisis intervention support for patients in distress, ensuring their safety while navigating trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on coping mechanisms, trauma responses, and available resources to enhance their understanding and self-efficacy.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations, professional development workshops, and team meetings that focus on innovations in trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients who are grappling with the aftermath of traumatic experiences, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and other dissociative disorders. Your expertise will focus on fostering resilience and recovery among a diverse patient population, ensuring that every individual receives personalized attention tailored to their unique histories and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• A capacity to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations and a commitment to client confidentiality.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and willingness to adapt to technology-driven workflows.

• Ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to integrated patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
