Work Environment\n

This role will primarily be conducted remotely, ensuring flexible work opportunities while still fostering a collaborative team dynamic. While most interactions may occur online, occasional meetings and consultations may be held in our community health clinic as needed. The therapist will have access to necessary resources and technology to facilitate effective patient care, including secure electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient confidentiality and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, ensuring active participation of patients in their healing process.

• Provide various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address trauma symptoms.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, offering guidance and support to patients as they process their experiences and learn coping strategies.
\n
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention, assessing needs, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and assist them in identifying coping mechanisms and community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans according to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training, case consultations, and team meetings to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, primarily consisting of individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. This may include adults suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is instrumental in creating an empathetic and therapeutic environment that encourages clients to openly discuss their experiences and work towards meaningful change.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.

• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and methodologies.
\n
• Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency in developing individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two (2) years post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

• A proven track record in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
