Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, which allows for a flexible work arrangement while maintaining close connections with colleagues and patients through virtual platforms. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adjustments in schedule to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gather information about patients' trauma experiences and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement tailored treatment strategies, including evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to support patients in processing their trauma, cultivating coping mechanisms, and promoting overall mental wellness.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care.

• Respond to crisis situations promptly and effectively, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions to ensure compliance with legal and ethical protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this counseling position is on individuals who have experienced various types of trauma, including but not limited to abuse, neglect, and significant loss. You will work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet their unique needs. Your expertise will support clients in overcoming their challenges, leading to improved mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
