Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or any location conducive to engaging with clients. The work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each client's unique trauma history and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process trauma and learn coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic treatment and integrated care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, using your skills to stabilize situations effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to enhance their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards, while also participating in case consultations and team meetings.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center on individuals who are survivors of various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will significantly contribute to their healing process, helping them reclaim their lives and achieve emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools to facilitate remote consultations.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-affected populations.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused interventions and therapies.

• Ability to remain calm and collected in high-stress situations, effectively redirecting client concerns.

Compensation and Benefits\n
