Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' past trauma experiences and develop suitable treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients' healing processes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with safe spaces to process their trauma and learn essential coping strategies.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated care and cohesive treatment plans for all clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients' safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical obligations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma. This includes those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
